WHOLE GRAIN CHALLAH WITH CRANBERRIES AND ORANGE ZEST

This is my second ever braid and this one is 3 strand braid made with orange zest and granulated sugar sprinkled on top!!! It was very tasty and stayed soft for days until we finished it. Only two of us and we are trying to not eat a lot of bread in one day.

Then I made my first wreath and dried it for table decorations for Christmas day. Will have to wait to see what the people gathering for dinner will think of it on the bread and roll table. Maybe I need to decorate it more. Any ideas?

Thanks for stopping and MERRY CHRISTMAS HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU AND YOURS!!!

  3. I love your ideas! But alors! To dry the wreath and not eat it almost seems sacriligious to the likes of me! Just kidding you about that. I think it was very creative and a great way to entice people to make bread! Great job!

  10. No such thing as too much bread, especially when it's as beautiful as this. That wreath is especially gorgeous. It definitely put me in the holiday spirit.

  11. Both breads look great! The topping on the braid looks yummy, and the wreath is a very pretty idea, but I don't think it would survive my family here!!
